Yes — the portable edition runs directly from a folder or USB drive without installation. It keeps your data in a Data folder and backups in a Backups folder alongside the executable, so you can move your entire operation between machines by simply copying the folder.
From the login screen click "Forgot your password?" — a wide window shows your device code, a steps box, and WhatsApp/email buttons. Send us the code and we generate a signed recovery code (recover prefix, valid 3 days) that instantly resets the first active manager's password.
Absolutely. Data never leaves your machine — no cloud, no sync, no external servers (there is no data-networking code at all). The system follows a soft-delete policy so no record is ever lost, even accidentally, with automatic backup on every exit plus rotation, and a privacy layer to safely reset the workspace or load a demo scenario.
The current licensing model is device-bound (permanent or dated, depending on the issued code). The final upgrade/update policy will be set when the automatic-update channel launches — currently deferred by the founder's decision.
